UMKAY

Why I made Umkay.

UMKAY started with conversations I was having with people I met in everyday life, sometimes in places as unlikely as casinos. We'd get talking about ChatGPT: what people were trying, what confused them, and what they thought it could do.

I've spent years working in software testing and automation, so questioning results, exploring alternatives, and checking what actually works comes naturally to me. Rather than keep repeating the same introductory conversations, I decided to make something useful I could share.

That's UMKAY: a free place to get more comfortable using ChatGPT, ask clearer questions, check answers that matter, and develop an approach of your own. HomeRoom offers a guided starting point; the lessons are there whenever you want to explore a skill directly.
